If you would like to ensure  nearby charities receive more support for their efforts, your help in vetting their services would be appreciated. We will contact you for further discussion. Please submit your willingness to go visit a charity and ascertain their status and/or needs.

WHAT IS A CHARITY PER BenefitAll?

For our puposes, only those charities  recognized by the Federal Government/IRS as 501c3s will be included in our programs. Those with state only designations will not be included.  Also, those not filing full 1023 forms or annual 990’s may be excluded.

WHAT IS ‘VETTING’ A CHARITY?

BenefitAll has seen thousands of ‘charities’ solicit monies and support from the public.

Most are doing wonderful work.  Some are not.

BenefitAll works to ensure resources are used as intended by donors.

HOW DO WE ‘VET’ A CHARITY

BenefitAll uses extracted data from public IRS records and performs the following:

  1. Validate current and valid 501c3 status.
  2. Validate the NTEE meets BenefitAll humanitarian needs. (See approved NTEE codes)
  3. Verify that the described function in their ‘filing’ document (1023) is the same as their actual function(s)
  4. Verify there is ‘active’ governance and programs addressing those functions.
  5. Verify that no more than 20% of their annual income is allocated to management/overhead.

Charity Vetting & Partnership Request

For those 501c3s which do not meet the above, BenefitAll is willing to work with them to meet them, if the 501c3 desires…. presuming their humanitarian programs are needed and warranted.

If you would like to have us vet a charity for you, please submit the following information. We will respond as quickly as possible.
